A Dev in the Dark Academy Workshop

A 3-day, block-mode coding intensive for ages 9–13. Students build a real platformer in Code.org's Game Lab while learning the math that powers it — coordinates, variables, and inequalities become character placement, gravity, and win/lose conditions.

Cartesian coordinates → placing a character in the game
